“ This tram ( No.651) was destroyed by the explosion
of the first atomic bomb, witch exploded for the first time
on the earth, while running in front of the city office in 1945.
The town was completely devastated.
However, the railroad system resumed thanks to the efforts
of a railroad worker, only three days after the disaster.
This tram did not immediately run because it was heavily
damaged. It began to run again from the next year in March.
And it was useful to the revival of the town.
Now, four of the bombed trams are still continuing working.”
